I've recently discovered Borderlands 2.

The bad guy was done really well. By the time you fight him you really really enjoy it.

Hey, guys time for some new post-apocalyptic links.

Edengrad: Polish mmo game4, still in development stages, but looks like it has potential.

Postworld: Russian game, third person rpg with combat prothestics, i.e. lose a limb in a fight, have a spare handy? If so, slap it on and continue to chew bubblegum and kick ass. If not, bleed out and die. Further along than Edengrad, but still a WIP.

Encased: Another Russian game inspired by Fallout and the isometric RPGs of the late 90's and 2000's. Still very much in development but looks promising.

Dustwind: Spiritual successor to Fallout Tactics, but not a turn based game, but real-time combat. No single player campaign yet, but it is in the works. Play online or solo, and you can even make custom maps. Play as a human, a robot, cyborg, or even a dog.

Update 7/22/2019: single player campaign to be released on the 25th.

Rage 2: bigger, bloodier and crazier than the first Rage.

Okay, it's been a long time but I've got a bunch of new post-apocalyptic links for your consideration:

Games:
This is not a Test: table top miniatures game with a very strong Fallout vibe.
https://worldsendpublishing.com/

Devil's Run: Available as both a board game and as an RPG, Devil's Run is set around Southern California, with weird post-apocalyptic gangs, a ongoing zombie situation, and all sorts of Mad Max type chicanery.
https://www.wordforgegames.com/index.php/devils-run

PunkApocalyptic: A Mad Max/ Fallout inspired game with a ton of sarcastic tongue in cheek humor in it. Fend off the Mutards or try not to run afoul of the V Reich, ironically led by a dwarf with very sketchy grasp of history and a German name that literally translates as Black Man. ::) :P

Comics:
Scout's Honor:
Kit lives in a post nuclear wasteland where the only force for law and order is the Ranger Scouts. Kit has worked her whole life to be a Ranger Scout, and she's nearly there. There's just two small problems. One, the Ranger Scouts only take in boys to train, so she's had to pretend to be one. Second, the history and goals of the Ranger Scouts have far more dark and sinister elements than she knows about.

Post Americana: In the 23rd century, the world blew it's self to bits. Eighty years later, the American wastelands are threatened by a new self-styled President and his high-tech military forces, descendants of the elites who fled to a massive archology built into Cheyenne Mountain. Only a few post-apocalyptic misfits and one surviving rebel stand in his way. Provided they don't get each other killed first.

Redemption:
The dusty desert town of Redemption survived the apocalypse but is hanging on by a thread. A despot rules the town with an iron fist and controls its most precious resource: water. When that strongman marks her mother for death, young Rose Obregon ventures into the perilous wasteland to seek the help of the legendary gunslinger Cat Tanner, only to discover that the so-called 'Butcher' is long retired, living in solitude, far from what's left of the world, and preferring to keep it that way. When Rose arrives on Tanner's doorstep, with gunmen hot on her trail, the Butcher has a choice to make: sit on the sidelines or pick up her guns and do what she does best?

Geiger:
Set in the years after a nuclear war ravaged the planet, desperate outlaws battle for survival in a world of radioactive chaos. Out past the poisoned wasteland lives a man even the Nightcrawlers and Organ People fear. Some name him Joe Glow, others call him the Meltdown Man. But his name…is Geiger.
